These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SavantAlpha. Your continued use of the Service following any modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those modifications.
SavantAlpha is a newsletter author performance tracking service. We analyze publicly available investment newsletter content to identify stock picks and track their subsequent performance over time.
SavantAlpha is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial institution. We are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), or any state securities regulatory authority. We do not manage money, execute trades, or hold client assets.
All content provided through the Service, including but not limited to performance data, author rankings, position tracking, and analytical tools, is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this Service constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation of any kind.
Past performance does not guarantee future results. The performance data displayed on SavantAlpha should not be relied upon as a basis for making investment decisions. You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and any resulting gains or losses.

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are managed through Patreon. By subscribing, you also agree to Patreon's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
SAVANTALPHA, ITS AFFILIATES, AND ITS LICENSORS DO NOT WARRANT THAT (A) THE SERVICE WILL FUNCTION UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR LOCATION; (B) ANY ERRORS OR DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED; (C) THE SERVICE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS; OR (D) THE RESULTS OF USING THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED FROM SAVANTALPHA OR THROUGH THE SERVICE SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN.
IN NO EVENT SHALL SAVANTALPHA, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (C) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT; OR (E) ANY INVESTMENT DECISIONS MADE BASED ON INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL SAVANTALPHA'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FEES PAID BY YOU TO SAVANTALPHA DURING THE SIX (6) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SavantAlpha, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of the Service; (c) any investment decisions you make based on information obtained through the Service; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in the State of Delaware. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
You agree that any arbitration under these Terms will take place on an individual basis; class arbitrations and class actions are not permitted. YOU AGREE TO WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least thirty (30) days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect, such as by posting a notice on the Service or sending an email notification.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the Service.
